Requested Dates for January.....@ TGPR
I am having a cook-out / track day at TGPR, if anyone is interested. I only have ten slots right now, so if you want in, let me know now. Price will be 125 bucks, and that gets you a day of track time, and instruction from me, if you want.

thnx, L8APEX for the info. The track looks pretty cool.
STF I am interested. Please put me on the list as well. And yes, I need some ballast in my passenger seat so you are free to ride shotgun and point out my errors.

Is this limited to experienced drivers? If you are OK with someone with two AutoX's and a strong desire to learn form a master, I'm in. The 3rd or 4th weekend is best for me but I will try to make it whenever.

I haven't heard back from the owner, I have to call them tomorrow. Right now, I am shooting for 3rd week of Jan.
As for beginners, you are welcome, but know this, if you will have to ride with me first, and someone will be with you most of the day. Once, I know you are safe, i will allow lead follow with TrackAddict and others. Also, what I say goes, not because I am on a power trip, but because i am responsible for all there.
For my experienced folks, are there any concepts you want to practice/learn? There will be a few instructors, a semi-pro driver, and myself there, between all of us, you should have a deep pool of knowledge to pull from.
Somethings I am going to work on is close quarters with two of my instructors (parking lot close) at speed, passing techniques with another, and learning the 'feel' of a car (Nabil this is you). Your first lesson is learning how to tell when a car gets close to the limit. Also, plan on working with me ALOT on in car communication. Instructing is more about communication and less about driving. I want you to think about this, while you are prepping for the event.
For those of you serious, PM me, I want to take this offline, send me your email addy. Also, feel free to ask questions, or make suggestions.

yeah that was by far one of the best events I've ever been to. The car got extremely hot after a run though. I let it cool down with the hood popped...that vented hood helped alot too. Hope everyone has fun. Maybe I'll be able to this as long as it's after Christmas.
Stop- were you there that event? I remember there was a couple of evos running that day. One of them was red with some little 'diffuser' or something on the back glass.
