I found a closer dyno shop in Tacoma. So I'm going to get another one pulled and compare it to last Saturday's run.

What exhaust are you using along with this "super cat"....I'm wondering what the stock part looks like compared to the new one...looks nice.

Is that a high flow CAT or a CATless Midpipe?

I cannot find any mention of a "Super CAT" on

Sure - no problem. Let's get Dan to come also with his laptop :D Here is their website. I have not had a chance to call them yet to discuss the dyno.

I know them well.

That place built my Ford Probe to the tune of 248whp/256lbs-ft @ 7.5psi... Was a pretty good $4,000 investment

I did a dyno day with them once - they quoted me "$10 per pull". After the event, they gave me a bill showing I owed them another $230.

"What happened to $10 per pull???" I asked

"We'd have never quoted you that low...it costs us more to pay the guy (dyno operator) than that..."

I ended up giving them $125 of it - they 'covered' the rest because i was a customer. Other than that one mis-communication, they do excellent work, and are good people.

Austin's ProMax (just a block or so from there) has a dyno as well.

Looks very nice. Different dynos might give you very different results Nemesis. Be careful you don't get taken, that story by dmp is kind've scary. Good luck.

Yeah, I agree. I e-mailed them and they have a Dynojet chassis dyno just like the one we used on Saturday. The quoted me $50 to setup and one pull. Each additional pull is $10 a piece. I might check the other one dmp mentioned - Austin's ProMax and see what they will quote me.

Do you think I should just go back to Kirkland where we were last Saturday and use the same dyno?

Not really sure, you can call and ask for Rocky and check. They might be up to speed on production of them by now. I just got lucky and grabbed the first one.

I can't believe the difference is worth the cost - $95 for a few pulls, vs $80 for four pulls at Turbo Tech. Comparing 'corrected' values would likely fix any huge discrepancies.

I don't feel like driving to Kirkland, so Turbo Tech is it. I'll PM you when I setup the Dyno.

Nem,

How much was the cat? Does it have a spot for the O2 sensor?

$395.00 for the pipe
$30.00 for the Bolt & Gasket Kit
$15.95 for S+H
$440.95 total

And yes, it has a bung for the O2 sensor. Look at the first photo closer, see it?

The new one weighs 11.8 lbs. I'll weigh the OEM tonight hopefully.

I'm going to assume this will not cause a CEL then? Hmmm, decisions decisions, to go through the hassle of the CEL and a fooler O2, or just get a midpipe with a cat.

if it makes decent power i'd go with the highflow cat. i believe the sr motorsports one made ~8-10hp at the wheels. I hoep this one can be just as good (hehe dare i wish a lill better:p)
