Smoked Corners

I noticed everyone has clear corners on their rx-8's but does anyone have smoked corners. I have a black rx-8 and was wondering what this would look like on there.

If your going to smoke them, No point in leaving the light in there. Take it out. I mean, if you have a hard time seeing the rear lights when they smoke them think of the corner lights on under there. Its like no point.
On the other hand, You can just get a tinted vinel and put that on your self, if your that good. I have seen lots of guys on here in the past useing vinel on there corners.

smoke in general lets light pass through. even black out still lets light pass through. just use transparent paint.

I've had this done for months. I think a couple guys took pics of it at the last EVOLV-Chicago meet. simple, took 5 minutes, looks good and light passes through no problem. They still light up orange.

I've got a bunch of extra black vinyl if anyone wants to buy some.

best pic I have up of this past weekends track day. The only real thing it shows is that the ORANGE marker is clearly not blatently orange. I'll try to get some better ones up tonight or tomorrow.

What did you use to smoke or tint your corners?

the sidemarkers are so small it'd be easy to tint them with vht nite shades and some clear.

Thats true but translucent vinyl is a TON easier. Working on better pics still. I seem to have misplaced the disk they are on.

Here's another good pic for ya. Don't ask me who's car it is cuz I don't remember, but its from the EVOLV group. I could post up a good clear cornered black 8 and someone could photoshop it...
