That car looks really nice, i like everything about it except the big wing, and the random side marker above the fender.

 

Old picture, and it's actually not a flat black paint job.. It's just primer, before he got it painted to Brilliant Black.

Not a big fan of the primmer look on the RX-8. Looks better on a cheaper car, like Civics and 240's, not the 8. Just my opinion.

i love teh flat black look when its done right, and this looks good, id like to see it with about 9 coats of clear though on top though

 

the primer / flat black didn't look as bad as I originally thought it was going to. Love the 'after' pics with the exception of 2 things:
1) not a fan of that hood; rotor symbol is too small
2) are those 20" chrome wheels???

why did he change the wheels???? The VOLKS looks way better than those chromes!!!

 

Should have stayed flat black, more unique when done correctly.
