$25,000 cash to blow..
I've been wanting a RX-8 for a long time now since about May of 2004 but I was 16 then. I'm 20 now obviously, and since then my love for the RX-8 has remained constant. With the money I have earned since then I'm confronted with a variety of different vehicles with better performance and more reliability. If you were in my situation what would you do? I've pretty much got all of the sports cars on my mind except for muscle cars which is a whole different field of temptation.
RX-7
Mitsu Evo
MS3
STI
Boxster
S2000
350z
I have these choices to choose from.. I really don't like 4 doors however so my perrogative is coupes. Give me some insight. I wouldn't mind financing a R3 but the difference is only looks.. I'm at a crossroad

with 25k bucks you could get a sweet RX-7. 1994 with reliability mods, reworked suspension, wheels, rebuilt engine and still have close to 5k left over for your own savings/mods!
If you want new/reliability, I'd get the MS3.

I despise the MS3.. ford influenced hotbox imo. I've considered the RX-7 a lot but it's hard to find the one I want and I'm by no means a mechanic and couldn't keep up with a super high maintenance car like the rx-7

Oh I meant build a dream sports car - Like a FF Cobra or restore an older MR2, FC, FD, Porsche, Corvette, Sylvia, MG - yada yada yada.
As for your TC plans and budget - very do able; and you really can't beat the suspension and handling of the 8 (well it is the best I have ever driven anyway). Add some power which is too easy - and away you go.

If that is the case and serve in the military, and i was in your situation.... I would buy a** 2001 White Honda S2000 and get the inline-pro Turbo kit**...and again that is if i was in your situation,
but if you've been wanting the RX8 for that many years.....I would say go Complete Your Long Awaited MISSION and get yourself an MAZDA RX8...

evo is a beast. that would've been my other choice, if the situation was right. but with that kind of money, i would invest in an rx7 fd and get to work on it. No fun in just buying a maxed out car
