mazsport
Hey i have a brand new one still in the box. It's never been installed-not a collectors edition. You will need plugs as the plugs I got with it are for the Turbo type 1 kit (mazsport) which will be going up for sale shortly. Regards Hank ps I will pm you

Hey, hope u really do not think that I would consider selling the one that is a collectors edition? I'm keeping that one for prosperity, you know with a recession better than gold!!

I've got two dyno charts to show, both with the Mazsport coils but I can't get them to load up. If anyone wants to see them shoot me a pm and I will email them to anyone that wants to see them or possibly post them for me (it is saying that I have a bad extension or something like that). One taken on 11-1-08 with a peak hp of 164.4 and 137.4 ft/lb of torque. This chart also shows a previous run with known set of bad OE coils with a peak power of 180.0 & 140.9 ft/lb of tq.
Kennyfrc1 can vouch for it as he was at both dyno sessions for this particular chart.
The other dyno sheet was taken on 11-13-08 and it shows a peak hp of 197.1 with 140.0 ft/lb of tq. This run was also with the Mazsport coils. I just did a few other things like put in new plugs, re-routed the ignition wires as they were touching in a few spots, and changed out my front O2 sensor. It shows some break up in the lines above 8250 rpm but I don't suspect my car would do much more than that in regards to hp with the oem or the BHR set. Plus I do not have the AP to set the dwell settings either.
205whp would be nice but I don't really have the cash to see if another set of coils would do any better than I already have. (Not saying that the coils are a power adder, just don't know if I am actually losing power with the Mazsport coils because I do not have a OEM baseline run with good coils and plugs to compare to)
I just wanted to post this to show that the Mazsport coils can work but you have to be careful of the plug wire routing as I am sure you do with the OEM and BHR set. So if you already have the Mazsport coils with a bad dyno chart then don't necessarily jump to conclusions and start blaming the coils as I almost did.

Alot of different things were tried the day i was at the dyno. I also talked to scott plenty of times about the dyno and the coils. All i know is what i have syno sheets for. It may have been some other contributing factor but i myself believe it was the coils that were on the car.

No. They are regular OE Bosch coils with a Microtech ignitor module.
You can get the coils here:

The ignitor module is here:
