Highest Horsepower dynos for SC Turbo and nitrous - post them here
There once was a very popular thread that compared all the popular FI options against each other . That did turn into a bit of a shitfight after a while as it was supposed to be for BASE kits and there was always arguments about what should or shouldn't be included .
I would like this thread to be more of a no holds barred thread - lets see what people have done to get good power from their 8 whether it is supercharged Turboed or nitrous 4 port , 6port , AT or MT .
I'm hoping that people that have posted their dynos in the past will post them again in here if they meet the criteria .
Only rules are :
It must be a renesis engine with Forced Induction
Dyno must be of a members car - not a promotional dyno
Post as much information as you can about what was needed to get the power you did .
I will endevour to keep the first page updated with the top whp dynos for each particular setup .
Don't want to forget the ATs - want a 6 port AT dyno chart as well but have not seen any yet ....

other turbos:
Esmeril Turbo
Garret 3071R
Mazda Maniac
Chickenwafer 3071r @ 13.5 psi

SWEET! I'm so Baller Status
-Meth was Snow Boost Juice (51% water/49% methonal)
-Running Snow Stage 2 progressive water/meth kit with "medium" jet (not positive of the exact size will get it later), starts spraying at 3psi full spray at 9psi. Jet it right infront of throttle body
-Running crappy 91 Colorado pump gas
-Intercooler is custom, core is 30"x12"x3"
-running custom LS2 Yukon Ignition system with custom MSD plug wires
-NGK BUR9EQP FD Trailing plugs in the leading hole, OEM trailing plug in trailing
-GReddy E-01 electronic boost controller with MAXED OUT duty cycle...couldn't get boost to peak anything above 13.5 psi (might try another EBC or even a manual one now) Boost was falling FAST after 6500 or 7000rpms....that's why power trailed off like it did. I still held over 300-rwhp for over 3000rpm I think
-Running all stock injectors except for rebuild/flowmatched Denso 730cc P2s
Not sure what else would be relevant. Car feels like a beast!

For the record;
1) The porting Rotarygod did for me did not effect the overall airflow figures and only made a difference in the SHAPE of the torque curve, particularly through the midrange RPMs.
2) The nitrous was running for absolute **** that weekend because I screwed up my jetting calculations.
3) Once we get back around to developing nitrous applications and tweaking the ignition curves we should see F/I-like numbers from nitrous systems.
4) In the meantime, I would use the dyno sheets presented by "Punisher_RX8".

Hmmm...Good thread....
I will have a new dyno within the next couple weeks.
I will make sure and post it here...
In the meanwhile here is our old dyno....this was with an out of the box kit and our ignition upgrade....I later found that the boost controller was not set up properly and it was falling on the top end down to the wastegate spring pressure boost of 11-12psi. That is the reason the curve falls towards the top end instead of keeping it up like the one at the bottom which was at only 13psi but it only fell to 12(boost controller was also set up improperly but wastegate pressure was close to desired pressure so it just dipped a bit).

We will get to see how those new ports work then! I just thought that it was ok to point that issue out before falling again in the "but you" spiral that killed the other thread.
