How long will these last vs the stock coils? Are they more durable or just a stronger spark?

gm coils will last ALOT longer and can be picked up at any parts store for less than the rx8 coils. pretty much a win win situation. a couple people i know have bad coils on there rx8s and its just embarrassing listening to them try to start there cars

Seems like the same hardware that BHR uses for their kit. They do however have a ground strap on their kit I think......do you have this as well?

Yup sure do, it is neccesary because the ls2 coil has a 4 pin plug, rx8 has 3, so the extra one that comes from the ls2 is just a chassis ground.

Ahhhh.....thank you for clarifying this. If I recall correctly, those parts that make up the BHR kit and yours.....aren't cheap.

Tempting....very tempting

Similar, though this setup will not fit on a GReddy turbo car because of the mounting location.

Switched minds.....going with the BHR kit due to time constraints. Thanks for being helpful with all the questions though.

Not a "warranty" But i will stand behind it. If it doesnt work for any reason ill fix it or give money back. I sold the one on here to droob whom said,

"I got the coils installed yesterday, your instructions were great.

The car not only starts quicker it also runs waaayyyy smoother. Definitely the best mod I've done to date. It makes me wonder if one of my coils had actually been completely fried.

Cheers,

-Drew"

Seems to be working well for me and him so far. Also i had more coils laying around so i made a few more kits.. Didnt have anything else to do with the parts.. So if anyones interested in upgrading their ignition Pm me.

That's cool if you warranty it.

Nope.

The BHR sits a few inches further back and is smaller.
Your setup extends past the axis of the belts, which will intrude on the intake piping from the turbo.

Ooo makes sense man, well the one in the pic does sit further out (was the first one i made) the latest ones i made sit further back and are not as tall.
