It actually looks pretty nice. But yah, I don't know where else you could wear it besides meets and trackdays. I'm tempted though...

Won't you tempted to wear it in the Grand Prix, race meets and even in SEMA! :p

If you wear this in a car show, will people throw eggs at you :p?

expo1, I wonder if they have small verson for our kids??!! Won't that be cool for a father and son/daughter wear! I started to feel for my baby daughter already :D

Really! People around here, NC, wear racing jackets on a regular basis. One of those "fads" i think they call it :D .

Ummm, not so much. Call me a simple lad, but I'd prefer a jacket that has just one little logo that I could wear every day.

My review of the E-bay Rx-8 Jacket & a little modeling also.

I received the jacket in 9 days from Thailand, not bad. It does not have any care or country of origin tags so I doubt it meets any fire retardant or other USA requirements. Other than around the arms the stitching is single stitch. The design is a mixture of good-looking embroidery and patches on the shoulders, those shoulder patches are the only things that might be removable. The zipper is one of those plastic ones and requires concentration to get it right. Overall the entire jacket LOOKS well but I would not wear it every day or while working on the car. I do not think its durability is that good. But for the occasional track day or show it can last a long time. The main complaint about it I have is it’s hotter than I thought it would be. Just putting it on with a short sleeve T-shirt underneath my arms began to sweat. My guess that the lining used doesn’t “breathe” plus there is some insulation in that jacket. So one would have to wear a long sleeve t under it to be comfortable and only on a cool-cold day. So bottom line a good looking jacket that you should handle carefully and wear when it’s under 50.

Nice review. Fair dinkum comments.

Yeah I think it is not as good quality as you mention but I expected worst then that, really :p It is more like a jacket at the flea market, really :p, not in a race shop.

I think it is quite warm and it is a nice winter jacket. Too bad Melbourne will probably hit 40 degree C in the weekend. :o

Nice pic btw... I did not know you are a handsome gent !

I am 5'9" 152lbs....I got the medium and it fits pretty snug. Living in TX, I rarely get to wear it...maybe twice....the jacket is almost hot. I got the yellow one.....now if it would just get cold enough.

I know waaa, waaaa too bad I can't try one on in a store.

Any help from someone who bought one?
