just got my wheels painted glossy black
i did a thread earlier, and i decided to do 'post pictures' their kinda grainy, should have taken the pics outside rather than inside..but im satisfied, it'll look better when the tires are oiled up

Keep going with the all black look. Smoke the tailights, side reflectors, license plate covers and have the chrome emblems all done in a black chrome. Don't add the strakes or the rotory accents either. I think it would be original and look badass! Just my $.02

why is the date on the photo over a year ago? and it looks like you were outside when taken... (just curoius)

i like them..and they do turn heads, belive it or not... right now they look like ***, beacuse it rained so the car is dirty and the wheels are dirty *shows up alot*..
but when the car is waxed, the tires are gel'd, and the wheels are clean...it really looks pretty sharp

Maybe different angles, like you said, would give a different impression...but it still goes back to your true intention/style, and what look you are trying for. If this is what you're trying for, then I guess you got it.

i wouldn't say the black wheel look dates back to 16 year old honda owners cause people in japan have been doing this way before honda's were "cool" here in the states. I think it looks good but i would have had them professionaly powder coated. Being high gloss painted and powder coated are two entirely different things. Powder coating is stronger and will not chip like paint.
