Could anyone post directions on removing the dvd unit? I want to avoid scratching anything back there. Do I have to unscrew those two screws under the removable bin? How do I take off the armrest?

ok.. after Nov 1st this program will stop for about 2 weeks. then i will be able to get more done untill around Late Dec. After that it looks like this program will finish up and end.

So if your on the fence nows time. If your one of the many that have had this done . Speek up and let the others know its not that bad. ..

So again. I will stop taking any HU's or DVDs on the 1st of Nov ! ..

I still have a New Bose HU with Firm ware 9.67 for someone that needs it.. HotPot?

how are you upgradeing the HU's? I only ask since my ICElink that I've currently installed gets audio going, but the steering wheel controls don't work and I'm about ready to just send the damned thing back since it doesn't work to spec, I have the9.55 firmware and the 2.2 firmware on the iPod I was just curiosu as to how you actually upgraded the firmware of the HU's

its a reflash of the HUs IC chips. but if you have ver 9.55 or higher and your icelink does not work right send it back.. its not the HU.

Hey Thew, I've had a difficult time over here with my wedding coming up. Theres not gonna be any chance to do this after Nov 5th? ever?

If so I'll somehow ship it off tomorrow, but it's gonna be real hard.

Hey thom to get your firmware push and hold the TEXT button and then at the same time push Preset 1 . if you do it right it will tell you your Firmware. If you do it wrong it will say CLEAR.

The Upgrade program will stop for about 3 weeks. Starting on Nov 3rd. It will resume in the last week of Nov. IF you cannot get the HU to my NY address by then, you will have to wait untill the alst week of Nov.

I hope that helps. I do still have a New 9.67 Bose Head unit Forsale. if someone's in a real pinch and you have a Bose unit we can work something out.

When I pulled my HU I too had problems with the antenna connection, I was sure there was some catch or release I was missing. The answer turns out to be that you simply pull the connector straight back and it will come out, just make sure you are pulling on the connector and not the cable.

ditto if your talking about the HU, if it is the nav's antenna then just push the connector on the bottom (the green connector) and pull out
