Im using some ferodo pads. Im not sure what compound they are but I told them I wanted them for track days. Ive used the same pads for around 6 track days (on two cars) and they are only just worn out now.

I dont think we could do consistent times on OEM pads.

With big brakes I think we could drop into the 40s around Winton.

I was running Hoosier semi slicks on the weekend. I normally use Dunlops D02/D03 semis though. I also tried some Dunlop full slicks on the weekend but they didnt really work well on the car. It needs suspension to suit the slicks.

My RX-7 makes 340rwkws. It laps winton around 1:34 on a good day on full slicks

Possibly the next Nats isn't the place to do it because not many of us are familiar with the Morgan Park circuit but at one of our track days I'd be interested to see one of our better drivers who has consistent times at a 'home' circuit swap between a few cars to see what impact different mods have on lap times. I'd certainly be happy to volunteer my car as a guinea pig.

Budi. the carbon airbox is same as my one in my car.

its comes with pipe, filter and hug carbon airbox. the only thing is top half park is carbon and bottom is FRP. but once you fit them on, all you can see is carbon. look nice and clean. its a 100% close box.
