Nats Entry Fee
There's a discrepancy between the amounts shown at the start of this thread and that on the Entry Form.
The Entry form amounts are the correct ones.
The original was an estimate and included accomodation, which is now up to the individual entrants to arrange themselves.
The Entry Form amounts cover all Track based activities, and all meals.
Get yours in NOW!!!
Cheers

All paid for both Danielle and myself.
Was not sure if the $350 for a track participant included the already paid deposit so I just paid another $350 for each of us to be safe.
If it is too much well it goes to charity or towards the next nats!

Btw guys, RENEW are running a track day at Wakefield on 12 July, so if you want to get some practice in for the Nats, you should go along. Cheep cheep too at $160 for members or $180 for non-members. :D
Retro and I will be there and perhaps some others. The RENEW crowd are friendly and will welcome some more RX8s.
If you're keen, you can download an entry form here - http://www.renew.asn.au/forum/viewtopic ... &sk=t&sd=a

Hey, can I help it if we stayed in the Cardboard Hilton?!! You could hear a mozzie sneeze in the next room!
I had to leave early because it was warmer in the car than in my room!!! What a dump!

2 things. Are we going to be assigned numbers for the day for the Nationals and if so, is it possible that we know them prior to the event so that we can get our own (I'm tired of getting the glue of my door with Prep-Sol after each track day)?
The other thing is, how easy is it to remove the back seats? I have a wife and a second set of wheels that I need to bring down with me and I am not going to be able to fit them all in the car with the back seats in. I've seen people put a full set of 4 wheels in the back with the seats removed and wonder how hard it is to do?

Back seats are easy to remove.
Grab the butt part of the seat in the middle at the front and pull up it just pops lose.
Then tilt and pull out.
For the back of the seat part you will need a 13mm two bolts one on each side you will see them once you get the butt pad out. Then lift up to unhook at the top and slide out.

Matt,
I responded to your query in .au. As posted there, you don't need to remove the back seats to fit 4 wheels in.
Although having thought about it since posting there, I might remove mine next time just to save the seats getting marked or damaged (even with the wheels bagged you still get some dust and crap in the car)...

Theres your problem right there!
The rear seats pop off quite easily. Just yank up on them by sliding your hand under the middle part of the seat.
The backrest can be taken out by undoing a few bolts which are hidden underneath the seat bit
