I've PMed my mobile to those who asked.
Thanks southwest crew for making the journey.
We'll talk on the day about options for a southwest cruise for the next one and hopefully the other northern crew will return the favour and attend - I certainly will.
BTW, I'm going rain, hail or shine (well, maybe not hail, lol), so don't let a few rain drops stop you from coming - you can wash the car later, lol.

Hornsby to Windsor, sounds good.
I had planned to be out of town this weekend but that fell through. So count me in.
Dave, I'm not familiar with Hornsby, can you pm me the nearest cross street to the Macca's meet-up point. Then I'll find it easily.
Cheers.... Otto

Okay, few people have asked for clarification on the Macca's meet up point, so here's some more details:
It is located at 146 Pacific Hwy, Hornsby (plug it into whereis.com.au or your satnav, if you've got one). It is opposite Barker College and I think the nearest cross street is James Street. You'll know it when you get there because it has a kind of surrounding carpark with parks on three sides of the building, much longer on one side (and of course there'll be RX8's there
).
Do not go to the other nearby Macca's on Galston Road at Hornsby Heights, and of course trying to drive to the Macca's in Westfield shopping centre at Hornsby would be just stoopid, lol.
If you're still not sure, PM me for my mobile and you can ring/txt me tomm if you're struggling, but it's really not hard to find - just stay on Pacific Hwy after Pearce's Cnr and it's on your right as you keep heading north.

One more thing - few people are interested in doing lunch afterwards.
Any suggestions for a location, perhaps back in the Hornsby area, since we're doing a loop. I'm thinking a pub with decent bistro food or something like that...

Last I heard it is supposed to be clearing tomorrow.
So hopefully, it'll get better as the morning goes on.
Doesn't know what it wants to do today. I keep planning to do something outside and then it bloody rains again.

Late morning or middayish.
Hornsby to Windsor and back doesn't take very long, which is why I'd prefer to do Bells Line of Road as well but since most people seem to have time pressures tomorrow, we'll keep it short and sweet and grab a bite afterwards for those interested.

Thanks to all who came. Weather wasn't exactly inviting but we only copped the odd light shower and the roads were mainly dry.
Not sure if anyone was taking photos (I'm always oblivious to that stuff, not being a photog) but a short report follows:
We had 8 cars all up. Three blacks, two reds, a blue and my Ti with Len's Polo GTI the ring-in. MikeyR and Gibbo were late scratchings (hope 'er indoors is feeling better Gibbo - as for MikeyR, I'm tipping some self-inflicted affliction, lol).
After oohing and aahing over latest mods (wait till you see Otto's transformer rims!!), we set off from Macca's and promptly got separated because stupid here forgot to tell the rest of the crew about the dogleg to get to the top of Galston Road. I paid for that though, because while the 'lost boys' had a clear run down the gorge, the rest of us had plenty of time to appreciate the scenery behind some 4wd behemoth.
Met up again at the top and we set off. Stupid made his second mistake by heading the bottom way to Windsor, thus taking us through the over-developed nightmare that is Dural and environs. Never made it to Windsor - I got the ***** and decided to head through Pitt Town to Wiseman's instead. Funnily enough, they all kept following me, hahaha...
Poor Miss Trish was running very low on fuel by the time we got there and something tells me she won't show up at the next cruise with a quarter tank, huh Trish?? LOL
We beat the lunchtime rush of motorbike riders and got a decent park at the pub, so people could eat, drink and generally get to know one another a little better. Always nice to put faces, etc to avatars and was nice to see some new people there.
Bumped into my eldest bro just as we were leaving. Bloody family, can't get away from them, hahaha.
Mogley, Trish, Len and I had a fair little blat back down the Northern Road in fits and starts but eventually we hit heavier traffic and I got tired of shutting my eyes whenever Trish tried to match some of Mogley's, ahem, more interesting overtaking moves. Len and I turned back down towards Galston but by that time cars were everywhere, so it was a sedate little drive back to Revolver Towers for a quick lunch.
All in all there's worst ways to spend an overcast Sunday. We'll head southwest for the next one and see who else comes out of the woodwork for that cruisey.

lol. Enjoyed the cruise a lot, thanks for organising it Dave and Tuan.
It was good putting faces to names.
Pity about the weather and the traffic on the way up but as you well noticed had a blast on the way back down.
Questionable overtaking moves? There was a few hairy ones but a little game of chicken never hurt anyone. lol.
Can't wait for the next one.
Cheers
