The promotor of the Sandown GT Classic is inviting car clubs to join in the event atmosphere and register to bring your cars to be on display at the event as well as get a special parade lap of the Sandown circuit. Join OzRenesis in putting on a spectacular show of motor machinery! This is the perfect location for OzRenesis Xmas party or a picnic in the summer sun! There must be a minimum of 10 cars for us to be eligible to register, so get together get involved in the Sandown GT Classicwhich promises to be a hallmark event on the Motor Racing and Event Calender

I am going to watch as a spectator on that weekend so will see you there. Tubby Jnr not being an RX8 makes it a little redundant to offer his services I guess!

Well it is getting to late to organise it as there is minimal interest and we need 10 by this weekend.

So are there any body want to head down, have a hot dog and watch GT car go around? I think Stu is going?

 

Yep I am going! It's my birthday present to myself!

Well not really I just picked up the first part of my birthday present last weekend... A high definition video camera (Cannon HV20) to mount in the car for trackdays and today ordered the 2nd part of my present a 2.8Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac with the inbuilt 24" high definition display so as I can edit and play with the video off the camera.

So the weekend watching the GT's is really just cream on top.

Took some incar footage at Sandown on Monday and boy is the picture quality just amazing. Footage is shaky over bumps as I only had time to quickly mount the camera 3am the morning of the track day. I will build a better mount now before the December Broadford day!

Yes I will. I plan on heading over to mums on the weekend and use iMovie HD on her iMac to grab the footage off of the camera. You will have to put up with a bit of shake though!

Did not get the video editing done on the weekend. Mums little dog of eighteen years died on Friday and then a couple hours later Dad was informed that the grafts (don't know the proper spelling) on his arteries from his 5 bypasses 6 years back are leaking so the specialists want to open up his chest and do again. Though it best I spend the time with them and not just on their computer!
