"I'm ALIVE" Actually the lungs/chest are starting to feel a lot better. Now if they can do something about these damn infected ears Still the positives are I can't hear Danielle yelling at me

Tomorrow morning if I feel how I do today I'll be going for a drive

Welcome bluey.... sure you can't

A blue 8... does the driver looks tall and ugly

That will be auzoom (Andrew).

Bring some hand pick food/ snack if you can, sure ... a packet or 2 will do; since we have a lot of food.

May I remind everyone the followings:
1) It may rain So bring wet weather gear.

2) Bring CB radio if you can

3) Don't forget your food.

4) And I am getting the SP23 from Gary & Warren Smith Mazda at 0830 and hopefully won't be delayed for our cruise - I still cruise with my 8 since there is no DSC in the 3

See you tomorrow at 1000

oh ok HOPEFULLY there is a roof/cover for the BBQ area

That is the satellate picture (current 12 16 0230)

Matches the description below
"Another cold front will move from the Bight to cross Victoria early Saturday then an associated low pressure system will develop southeast of Tasmania later Saturday, causing a cool southwesterly airflow to persist across Victoria on Sunday. A high pressure
system will move from South Australia to western Victoria later Monday."

Let say it will be wet

Forecast Mornington Peninsula
Saturday Showers developing, possible thunderstorm. Min 13 Max 20

for a roof and delay on the arrival of the cold front.

Also for the Ozzie cricketer at the WACA too.... 1/0

Fantastic turn out of 14 cars (or was it 15 !! :-/)

Could have been better weather, but a great day had by all.

I am off for holidays for 2 weeks and will be technology free, so be good, have fun, but above all else, stay safe these holidays.

Andrew

A typical Melbourne day... Both Danielle and I got sunburnt on the drive down (damn convertibles ) and then we all really got to know each other very well as we all had to huddle together under the only shelter for the hail storm

Overall a fun day!

Have a safe holiday Andrew. When you get back I'll give you back your CB as I forgot to hand it back when you left.

It is only small hail - so damage. Jormatom's kids even go out to play

I think the bird dropping have more damage to my car's paint work then anything else.

It was a good turn out INDEED!

14 RX-8s plus a brand new MX-5!

It is so COOL scrolling down the eastern beaches (along some of the most expensive suburbs in Melbourne), crusing down in all sorts of colour (We only need StratoBlue and Tit grey to complete the line up though).

Arthur seat is great and we all got lost - BBQ was fun too.

YIPPEEEE! I'll be there at Winton or any drive days. I need these days to clear the carbon build-up.

It was great fun... I'm sure everyone enjoyed themselves as well.

Ahhh thats were it got to. No hassle.

As for Winton Park, I have sent the email off and will start a thread when I get a reply.

Did anyone else have to rinse the salt water spray off their car?

How much fun was that??? Even the hail couldn't spoil it.

I thought we wern't going to mention the weather so that our fellow northern RX8ers wouldn't hang it on our fair state?

Anyway, it was great to catch up again with those that I met at the Nats and meet for the first time all the rest of you guys.

Kall, the interior needs a bit of work, but that's what you get for being different. Yes you were very lucky there was no other car coming the other way, or you would have been lodging a second claim on your insurance this morning.

Also good to see Stu up and about going around topless. I was initially disappointed that my wife pulled out at the last minute, but seeing that nice new red MX5, I know she would have been down at Brighton Mazda this morning going for a test drive.

Cheers

Greg
