I accept that there are good reasons for people pulling out but seeing what was going to be a large contingent of people confirming attendance to no-one actually confirming attendance as we get closer I had to make a decision, do I stick with it and maybe one or two other people would turn up (on the Saturday as originally organised) or do I pull out and make other plans.
I can't make the Sunday so I'm letting people know that I won't be making it on the Saturday.

BUGGER!!!! I was looking forward to having this run with you guys too....
I'm still gonna do a GOR run with the wife on Sunday anyways, as I'm heading interstate next week to work for a month. I need a final "8 fix" before I go and then the car'll be shedded up for the duration - the wife won't drive it and the kid's aren't allowed (insurance won't cover em).
Maybe we can all do the run together in the not-too-distant future?????
Cheers,
Rod.

Howdy folks,
Just back online after a hard disk crash.
Sorry to see everyone's dropping out, just as I was rearranging things to get myself organised for Sunday. I'm still up for it if enough of you are... let's have a resurgence!

OK... How about this - gather at Shell for the photos as Kalli suggests and see how far we'd like to cruise from there, as the collective mood takes us?
If it's going to be sunny it'll be a great day for photos.
Maybe you can take a day off the bike Taka - I reckon you'll still get the 9am ferry on the day, mate. And there's always the Shepparton Fruit Loop (google it) if you need more training riding - I'll be there!

Agreed
I know some of the guys cannot make it all day. Andrew said he had to be back in Eltham about 11am, or was it 1pm.. anyway yea, we could meet up, go somewhere not too far, have coffee/brunch
will still be early enough to get somewhere decent without too many cars, sunday........ people sleep in, or head out after church lol
I'll start brainstorming some ideas of where to go which isnt too far of a distance
if any1 has any suggestions or queries please let me know
i'm still a bum and not working

CHANGE OF PLANS
Sorry to disappoint anyone, but since so many people cannot make it, perhaps best to postpone this cruise. Personally I'd love a lot of the regulars to attend, and if they cannot make it, I dont see much fun in it, as these people are regulars and friends of ours and Id think it be more fun if we did this altogether.
So alot of us still want to catch up......
We will meet up as planned at Shell Station going outbound towards Westgate, and go somewhere local. By local could be beach and we have some Brunch and definately cruise somewhere for some great photos. We havent taken any group rx8 photos, which would be heaps fun

So new details
TIME: 8.30AM
MEET: SHELL STATION OUTBOUND TO WESTGATE BRIDGE
WHAT TO BRING: CAMERA AND CLEAN CAR
![Mdrmed](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/mdrmed.gif)
WHERE TO: TBA probably beach area, photoshoot & brunch
Please post if you are okay with this idea, and on Sunday arrive with some funky thoughts

Complete change of plan at my end. Eldest son is coming back home to live this weekend and I'll be helping him to move. Where I'm gonna put his 3 cars and motorbike remains to be seen - not to mention everything else! 4 cars (and another in bits) already live here in my sheds now...... Might have to put a sale sign out the front when he's not looking!
Anyway ava great day gang and we'll catch up some other time.
I really wanted a decent drive before I went away for the month too.............
Cheers,
Rod.
