whose idea was it to put that in!
Me, and its actually 95db(a) from 30 meters from the track and is standard Winton requirement due to EPA laws.

If its road legal then its 90db(a) at around a meter from the rear bumper in the middle of both exhausts at the height of the exhaust (I Think thats how they measure it).

Stop stressing guys. 95db(a) 30 metres from the track is hard to do, remembering the track has concrete walls, fences, etc around it.

Auzoom, looking at attending , but dont require accomodation or food as I will be driving down from Albury on the day. So what is the cost to attend only the track day at winton?

Regards
Rexi

Have been flatstrap with a biggish Fed Ct case the past month or so and haven't seen much of them to be honest but made friends again on the weekend, lol. They're good and glad to have the bloke who leaves early and come home late back again (for a while).

And he's back in the game!!!

Form and gregory peck is in the mail.

Now, licencing? I remember reading that enquiries were being made as to whether a Wakefield licence will be accepted at Winton. However, if that's not the case, or it's expired, how do I go about getting an acceptable licence? Can I get one on the day at Winton?

Feel free to move this to the Nats discussion thread.

Otherwise, are we short on the desired numbers? Should I attempt to rustle up some more NSW troops?

Dave, great news that you can come.

Licence... Wakefield is NOW a AASA track so if you have a current Wakefield licence I do not see why not you can use it in Oct. If you update an AASA licence, you can use it in both Winton AND Wakefield!

Sorry I have not been showing what I have been doing.

I have been running around to get companies to come to Winton.

I have confirm Kevin from DriverDynamics for his attendance. He is a star now with appearance of his skid day in Current Affairs and Car show.

He also drives for another TV show in Test Drive, lucky bastard he will drift a GT3.

I also organised a Racegear night for people who wants to prep their cars/themselves... please see other thread.

Some fuel companies and tyre companies that I have contact with and I hope I can secure their appearances + sponsors.

busy......

Here are a link to the AASA licence

Advise to get it organised before the track day. Send it to Winton and get a number if not the actual licence card.

http://australianautosportalliance.c...id=4&Itemid=45

For AASA you can use Mazda RX-8 Club of Victoria Inc for the sponsor.
Send it toPostal Address:
PO Box 249
Benalla, Victoria 3672
Tel: (03) 5766 4235
Fax: (03) 5766 4249

For CAMS you have to have be an actual member of a CAMS club .

Hope this helps

You can only use a Wakefield Licence if it's an ASSA one.The one most people will have is the one they got at last year's Wakefield Nats-and it's no good.
Best contact Winton and arrange one PRIOR to the day-you've got nearly three months.
Cheers

Good to hear mate. Looking forward to catching up with you!

Thought if I was able to wrangle it on my wedding anniversary you might just find some creative avenue to get there yourself
