Promise I will behave... But I can't say the same for Danielle. Just too much of me to keep her hands off

Hmmm... If its a certain two I know of then you could be in for some trouble. They are coming down to go hunting - Stig hunting season I have been told

OK people, this is the last 2 days to get your orders in for Shirt Sizes and Plates. After Wednesday I CANNOT guarantee you will be able to get one of these items.

I also have only 4 track spots free (30 in total) and 6 people left to make deposits, so please get your deposit in ASAP as we are taking track spots on first come first serve basis.

Cheers

Ok I also have been working.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO COME THIS YEAR?

NUMBER 1

We have made contact with Kevin Flynn and him plus one of his Grade 3/4 instructor will be at Winton this year.
http://www.driverdynamics.com.au/
Kevin starts at the current TV show Test Drive. So he is a celeb.

NUMBER 2

http://tractiontyres.com.au/
We will also acquire a tyre company to be there to give us advice re: tyre questions in general and be there when (touchwood) events happens. To be finalised but I am confident that Traction Tyre from Rowville will make their appearances.

EXCITING!

NUMBER 3

I also have donation from www.rotary13b1.com for their products.

NUMBER 4

Also I will be going to make some fire extinguisher brackets to be sold there at cost price. I will post some details and picture when I get it installed in my car.

Hey Mr President

Any news on Traction Tyres support for our event? More importantly, any pre-Nats deals as I need new rubber?

Cheers

Greg

Traction tyres is confirmed of coming.

No deals has been done with them prior to the Nats.

They are good people and the owner's wife owns an RX-8 (Shinka Copper Red manual). So I am sure they will look after you. . I suggest to give them a call.

Now it is just about a month out of the Nationals... how is everyone going about their cars.

Mine is prepping for final alignment tomorrow. I have corner weighted, Knight sported, oil changed, newly-air-filtered, newly-brake-padded, newly-tyred (Advan'ed), GPS Racechronoed, ...

Still waiting an endlink to come and I am right!

**************************************

On the organising end, I have been struck by some wonderful news from fdracer (Jason)...

Very very VERY exciting news.

Courtesy of MikeyR, have changed oil in engine, gearbox and diff.

Will organise alignment, etc shortly.

My pads still as new. Tyres still plenty of wear.

Driver weighs about 13kgs less than last year too, lol.

I'm not bothered about times though - this is my first time at Winton, so I'm treating it as an exploratory tour (and an excuse to get some tuition)...

Guys just a bit of an update. Due to a number of factors including change of owners and broken promises, but mainly that I didnt realise these other guys existed, we have moved the accomodation from Trekkers Rest (thats the last you will hear me mention that name) to the Benalla Leisure Park (no taka thats not what it means )

The facilities are better (toilets and showers in each cabin), they are of a higher standard, they are providing all the meals on site for us and we managed to wrangle a pretty good deal.

Cheers

Andrew

Thanks.

There's a downside though - everyone I know asks me questions as if I've just got out of Changi (hey, I was hardly tubby before) and I'm having to gradually replace the wardrobe, which is bloody exxy I'm discovering .

And before anyone asks, no, I'm not

If it's getting your oil changed by a good mate, don't know. It sure as hell ain't my good looks and charm, hahaha!

If it's losing weight - simple: move more, eat less and...sorry, this'll hurt...drink less beer.

Hey fellow Victorians

What's happening on the Friday with regards to getting to Winton?

Are we going to all convoy there together or is everyone making their own way?

If we go together, what time will we be leaving?

I have a mediation scheduled for 1pm on that day so I'm wondering if I should change it.

Cheers

Greg,

I have not decided what time I will be up there yet? But I mostly likely to be there for lunch.

Thanks Taka

It looks like I will be leaving mid afternoon. If anyone else is looking at leaving around that time, maybe we could arrange to drive up together.

Cheers
