2009 ....MX-5 Driven

3 page review on the 2009 Mazda MX-5 , If only it had a TURBO note front end resemblense to RX8

thanks for the link! that's probably the first car site that I have seen that has listed the weight of a car!

I tried to google the new 370Z's weight and every review I read had, power this, power that, but not one site said how much the car weighed.

the 1200kg for the mx-5 is impressive for a modern car!

The current wheels list the 350 Z at 1533 kg for the Touring model and 1633 kg for the Roadster .

Most likely the 370 Z will be near these figures its a bit of a porker but 0-100km is quoted at 5.2 .

The GTR 35 weighs in at 1750kg but goes like a bat out of hell

According to this article by motortrend significant efforts have been made to reduce weigh and improve handling etc

Two words danny...brilliant effort. I would be very interested to see what difference the mod had on speed and torque vs the original stock engine.
