I didn't think that the RX8 had Econ A/C, I thought it was A/C or None?

You might not see it in Qld (some parts) , but once the inside temperature gets to a certain point, and you are using the "Auto" setting, the display changes to ECON A/C, as xxup says

Okay Ive never noticed the aircon hitting A/C.ECO until this morning, after reading the thread, what a coincidence.

So what your telling me is it turns on ECO automatically, when actual temp hits the temp displayed?

Wow.Thats as genius as suicide doors.
