The ones I got were going to be cheapish at around 2-250 each (shipped to you) but would need to be epoxied (normal to do this to RC planes when they are only foam and the ones in the film clip have had this done). In the end a mate decided that he would tear the thing to pieces and see if he can do them himself (maybe cheaper). Hopefully be able to tell you something by next week. But I am telling anyone who has never flown RC planes that this is NOT (I REPEAT NOT) a toy for beginners. The motor needed to fly these things is so strong and the prop so big that, while it was in pieces I was mucking around and holding the piece of wood holding the motor and prop (roughly 10mm x 10mm and 150mm long) and decided to switch the thing on. At half speed I was holding on with 2 hands and barely holding on to the thing. At full speed it flew out of my hands and the only thinig that stopped a scene from a cartoon was that the battery cable coming undone.

Awwww, for you...I reckon I could, but its going to be at least a week before I get a chance as I am in lovely Canberra tuesday-thursday and then Sunday-Monday (anyone in Cbr feel free to PM me as I need something to do).
For those that care, the motor is a brushless, 20amp electric motor.

A number of the ACT guys are going on a cruise Sunday to Nowra and back (they're meeting us Sydney guys for lunch).
Then, a number of us are going on to Wakefield for a track day on Monday.
Don't know if any of that fits into your plans but I'm sure somebody would give you a ride if you don't have your 8 with you.
