Strato Blue??? Right?

Welcome to the family. Ask any question. Unlike some people, I will not tell you to use the search button first.

Welcome Bli55d -- another silly grinner

Yep, you can learn lots of interesting stuff here -- 'search' sometimes helps -- but if you tell us you have searched and can't find what you're after, PM Gomez -- he's our corporate memory (and conscience). In fact, I don't think of him as just Gomez ....more Googlemez :D :D

Hey, and while you have to be a bit bit calm in the first thou, that doesn't mean you shouldn't vary your driving style and habits quite a bit. Loosen 'er up before Easter

Congrats on selecting the complete package, Bli55d!!!
The S2K and Accord Euro definately don't provide the same driving pleasure that you'll get from the 8. Enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyyy n welcome to the gang!

Congrats on being a fellow Strato blue owner. I'll keep an eye out for it. For a while i was boasting about having the only Strato blue in Sydney but in the last few months i have seen a few popping up in dealers all over the place. I even saw one when i went for a service last week.

Still have not seen one outside a Mazda dealer however. Enjoy having a very rare colour (the Americans don't have it) and it looks unreal especially when the sun shines on it.

Strato Blue is indeed a very rare colour in the 8.
Even amongst buyers of other Mazda models, it is a colour that you either love or hate.

I personally love it and would have chosen it over the Winning Blue if it had been available at the time of purchase.

Ahhh yes, seems just like yesterday...... I bought mine on Feb 28th last year...at 4.40pm. The sun was shining, the air was clear. The 10km drive home went all to quick. Halcyon days, the new car delivery days. I was just like you last Feb 28, a rotary newbie........they suck you in, I tell ya :D .

Welcome,
Gomez.

thanks for the warm welcome guys

yeah for the moment its seems like a rare colour(i hope it stays that way) - ive only seen one on the road in that colour - and that was a few months ago

the sydney weather isnt helping in keeping the car look shiny and schmick.....next day after picking up the car, it rains. Clean the car on weekend and it rains today

Just hoping petrol prices come down a bit.......seems to be getting more and more expensive

ill try and get more pics when we get better weather

cheers

have to admit that stratos blues looks great, better than b blk or w blue or even shinka :D
if you want an unique colour, just change the colour :D
there will be two more unique 8s on the road soon, a baby blue pearl over blk and burnt orange :D
and knowing my luck, the petrol price will probably go higher as soon as i have my 8 back on the road
