You guys are too modest.

I have one done on mine - should I take a video of that? You can see my coolant temp drop from 100 degree to 82 within a minute.

That works on the relay of the fan. Mine work on the ECU end (before the relay)

I have this btw http://www.billion-inc.co.jp/billion...C-2_index.html

Kunz,

Got bored reading the ping pong, sign me up for the DIY workshop, seen your car PC components velcroed in the boot and i likey! My kind of hands on!

If it moves some extra hot air out then I'd be in for the aircon improvement alone!

Does look like a couple of "pots' and a "switch" in the photo.

But great find Mike!!! Keep up that Gold Coast Surfin, old son!!!!

Yeah you can adjust - low (one relay on but both fan moving) or high (both relay on and both fan moving).

Is the thermostat setting adjustable? Or is it essentially just an on/off switch to power the fans?

thermostat has a set opening temp and I think it is 81-84 C (from open a little to fully open).

It is about $200 to buy but a pain to install.

Hey Mike and kunz,

Taka's jobbie looks like the way to go (may as well do it properly).

If you decide to get one, let me know. We can group buy and perhaps group install. If installation is too tricky we might even save on installation costs by taking our cars to the one place and getting a discount.

Anyways, I'm interested, so keep me in the loop please.
