Red face Any brisvegas rx8 enthusiasts?

hey

just wondering if there are any brisbane rx8 owners on here who are into cruising/hangin out with fellow rx8 owners, on reading the forums it seems most are moving on with their 8's to other cars, and arent the social 'cruising' types e,g in their 20's/mid 20's.

not trying to step on anyones toes btw just wondered why there arent that many social gatherings happening.

Just needs someone to put them together. Plan a drive day some where and pick a date post it up and see how many respond.

The banana benders have never had much of a regular cruise scene. Hopefully with some new blood that might change...pick a date and route and see what happens - if nobody turns up enjoy the drive yourself.

Go hard Trev. If you can get some regular cruises going up there it's a win all round. Just be aware others have tried and largely failed.

....and I don't bother with the mungo game....

Seen that I was part of the Queensland cruise scene for the past few years, I thought I'd check the facts and sure enough my suspicions proved correct.

From 2006 to present there have been 4 cruises in NSW and 4 in QLD. Both States have had people post up cruises, and both have had them fall other.

Therefore NSW and QLD have never had much of a cruise scene but then theres Victoria....but I won't go there because they would kick our ***...!

Never claimed NSW had much of a scene. It's often like pulling teeth to get soft Sydney pussies along to a cruise or anything else for that matter. They're too busy twittering, facebooking and checking their hair out.

Vics have got nothing else to do...except maybe watch girly men kick a ball around

I will be at the next Lakeside sprints meet on 31st May. Spectator entry is free.

Racing starts around 10:00 am and finishes around 2:00pm. All are welcome to participate or watch.

If someone wants to organise a drive day I m sure we will get lot of interest. The last drive day attracted close to 30 cars.
