If you talk to the dealer they can set a sat nav option exactly what they do with the Mazda 6. its not a Mazda product though and you are looking at something that does not retract into the console but would be visable and thievable ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
And since your in Sydney the last thing you want is to come back to your car with a broken glass and missing lcd screen with cables pulled out from everywhere.
I have been looking at this option for a while actually and like the idea of one of those mini PCs to go in the car too. I can design the software to run everything else. But i dont have the time im booked out for the next 6 months in design jobs to have a play at the mini PC idea.

Phillip

I have been using an Apple iPod with iTrip which is an MP3 player which sends out an FM signal to which you tune your radio. 10,000 songs! and the quality is quite good with the standard RX 8 radio. You can get a iPod car charger and it all fits really well in the second compartment over the transmission tunnel.
