Funny you should say that Hymee....

My bad driving story does involve a Yellow RX8. Some fellow out on the country roads near us obviously got a rush of blood to the head.

I won't give details, but there did seem to be a distinct lack of respect for our maximum speed limit, and certain amount of over-enthusiastic overtaking and cornering. The sort of loud music that this sort of driver often favours could be heard too...

It's this sort of hooning that will get the car a bad name.

Unfortunately, it was me driving....

Should know better by now.

Ocassionally driving the rx8 like you have just stolen it is a good thing for the car and its image , to many law abiding automatic drivers here on the goldcoast bought the car i have been told by the dealer just for its looks and practicality some of these people Dont even know its a rotary engine . real wankels IMOH.

I'm sure we have all done it. Just remember we, as drivers, have a responsibility when we get behind the wheel, not only for ourselves (for which we might accept the consequences of high risks), but also to other road users and innocent 3rd parties.

I just would not like to get a knock on my door from someone in a uniform telling me I need to go identify a loved one...

Moderators have to be extremely upstanding members of the community

Cheers,
Hymee.

Yep, there is a time and a place for "spirited" driving, generally refered to as Mountain passes

Pity about the grannies and caravans though.

The 8 has a great horn. I use it a lot. In fact, I sometimes use it when I don't need to

Anyway, vent your cathartic urges on the horn. You will feel better, I guarantee it!

L&L gets extra credits for being a well behaved driver, so now he can go and play with his horn.
