Bad plug = power dip

Bad plug = power dip
Hi all,
Thought you might be interested in a recent adventure. After the last time I filled my '8 I noticed a dip in power about 3500 rpm. Worse than that at times putting the foot down at about that RPM up a hill resulted in no acceleration at all until I punched down a gear. My initial thought was bad fuel. It seemed to settle down again though and only happened infrequently. So ran the fuel down and put in some BP Ultimate... problem still there.
Time to check the plugs. Well that was it. Check out the photo of one of the plugs on the rear rotor.
A hit with a bit of sandpaper and she's much better. Idle is much smoother now and a problem with a bit of hesitation when taking off is gone (I had suspected engine mounts).
A learning experience and an easy fix
Cheers

All had a consistent thin brown coating with no sign of any serious buildup or damage.
