Bathurst rotaries. Pictorial history
Evening all.
Was searching around the net & found a cool book for those interested.
Bathurst Rotary Mazda's
Have checked already. There is an expensive leather bound + signed collectors version. A significantly cheaper hardcopy version & a soon-to-appear soft cover version. I just purchased the leather bound collectors version.
Nice pic of a Eurocars Mazda sponsored RX-3 on the cover.
If you didn't know, a little 12A powered RX-3 (driven by the Penrith Mazda backed driver, Don Holland) made it to 5th outright in 1975 against all those LH Torana SLR-5000 + XB GT falcons with rules to ensure the rotary could not compete on equal terms. Pretty mean feat in my books.
