Brisbane Skid Pan day sign on sheet
OK,
I have confirmed a date finally. And I have booked it so we are a goer for sign on.
The date is the evening of the 25th of september.
The total cost is $1000 and that is split by the number of attendees.
ie 10 people $100 each.
So can everyone post here and I will keep the list up to date.
If this is a bad date then let me know quickly and I will cancel it. As I know the murcott day is close to it as well.

Well we have now got a 80% 4 people
c'mon hymee and all you other brisbanians this gives you a chance to get away from your wives and children for a few hours. Think of it, no screamers just screaches and no whining wives just whining up of rotors

rev it up
Thanks for the vote of confidence Hymee. I just need more practise especially judging corner speeds. I was entering them too fast. I forgot to switch of the DSC in the excitement and this may have saved me on a couple of occassions :p

Unfortunately i have developed vitral tear in my left eye , so fast driving long periods of concentration are a NO NO for my eyes , i developed this condition after Wakefield and my 5000km trip to Melbourne , its a pain in the butt , but it could be a lot worse .
Believe me if my eye was 100% i d love to participate , i may still come along as a
orange boy .ha ha ha
Driving at night for long periods is not an option for me at the moment .
cheers

NB - This thread is not about the $295 Murcott course, but rather a private course organised by Dragtoys. There should be plenty of opportunity to do big skids in the wet on the massive skid pan at Mt Cotton.
BTW - Regarding the "Big Skid"... They will teach you to hit the brakes.![Wink](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Cheers,
Hymee.

Sorry about the delay guys.
Work is taking up a lot of time for me at the moment as I was promoted to management, and the drag car is taking up a bit of time as well. Along with travel to LA in september and Thailand in October, potentially seattle in november for 2 years.
If I have to go to LA in september it will be the weekend of this course but I should know about that next week. If I have to go to LA then I will let you know the options, which will be for someone such as hymee to take over the afternoon. THe day is all organised, we just have to show up, so it would not be much for someone to take over.
I am on holidays a the moment in melbourne at the airport about to fly to tassie for 3 days.
I will post an update on tuesday when I am back at work.
