the info's here
All the little problems affecting the car are already being discussed in this forum, the only thing I'm pissed off about is the removal of the moonroof! Mazda Aus has also removed the Heated seats and the snowflake white pearl colour. But I think all prospective drivers will test drive the car to be certain, but that's normal procedure ain't it? Anyway, countless magazines have done reviews on the car, so as far as I'm concerned, the infop is already upon us.

True, magz have provided info for us and mazda will allow us to do a test drive be4 we actually decide to get the8
but again, the test drive only tells us the short term performance
As usual, no1 really knows how and what problem might occur with 2-3 mths drive.
the test drive and the review from magz donot really tell us abt this
lots of cars having this problem, from the top brand to avg brand
bmw series 7 in US havin problem with the new tech that they have blabalbalabla....... ( lots of examples from other brands)
and the problem that occur doesnt have to be a big thing
although its a small matter, but i'll have to bring to mazda cuz its a new car so i wont take risk tryin to figure it out myself =), might make it worse.

I wouldn't fuss too much about it kenshin.
Mazda is putting everything on the line for this car. It's been in development for 5ish years and near production level for two.
It's been thrashed, fanged for 00's of 000's of kms.
Although, any prospective buyer of a new series should be aware that there is potential for little things to go wrong. (door trims, sounds systems etc). The major ones are definite;y sorted, or Mazda wouldn't be releasing the car. Look at the media hoopla... they'd but just as happy bagging the car if something bad goes wrong with the car, Mazda would be painfully aware of this.
But, DO test drive it of course. My dealer says that the pre-allocation of cars in the first shipment to Australia is just about fully ordered. Better put your order in quick or you'll be waiting for the second shipment - Nov-Jan.

I put my deposit in on the 22/1 to make sure I got the first shipment. Loved the car since it was a concept and the 4 doors means that it qualifies as my company car. The moon roof would have been nice however it is the sat nav that I would have really liked. Damn the DVD
