CarsGuide Review on New RX-8 "Not A Lot Of Point To The RX-8!

http://carsguide.news.com.au/site/re...nigmatic_rx_8/

Well...look at the video, you guys can make your mind up, Paul Pottinger of the Sunday Telegraph does not see much point in the RX-8 or rotaries for that matter... Without forced induction it cant talk the torque!

Dare I suggest if this overweight **** Head of a part time motoring journalist lost some weight, then perhaps the car would "talk" to him a little more!

All the video proves is that print journos should stick to their chosen media. I doubt Clarkson, Hammond & May have anything to worry about from that verbally challenged bunch of scribblers. And talk about amateur production values.

As for poncy Pottinger, he should save some time pontificating and invest it in some original journalism. His witty little paragraph about how the car was allegedly designed is plagiarised from a previous piece by another journo on the old car.

But really, you wouldn't trust newspaper motoring journos to recommend a shopping trolley for your gran, let alone rely on their opinion when considering a performance car, so I wouldn't get too het up about it Ash.

And I don't mind a bit if they assist in badgering Mazda into fitting F/I to the next model...

There is so much plagiarism in that article it is amazing he can get paid for such rehashed rubbish.Sound like he should get back in his Holden and blow off some Ford's at the traffic lights! Very B grade journalism..

pp 27-28 of the August Motor mag has a review of the new RX8 model which is far more positive than the newspaper reports to date.

Still not liking the black plastic moustache though...
