Sexup,

Sorry that the images all got lost!

Just two hex head bolts from memory, that go into the threads where the normal plate holder is attached to the grill. I think I had to make new holes in my new plates. But... No need to worry about that for the Nationals!

Cheers,
Hymee.

I cut my front plastic holder to size. I like the way it stands out a little from the grille, but each to his/her own.

Don't apologies for bringing up old threads... that's the right way to do it

Also to fix pictures when they break, you attach a new picture to a reply (like I just have) seems to bring 'em back. Weird.

i think the original option looks the best

or mount it on the driverside side vent (the one that hasnt been used) ie. drifter style

How on earth does the front number plate frame come off.. I removed the two 10mm bolts but there is something on the lower left side that will not let me remove the plastic housing from the grille... I can't reach behind the grille as I have the Hymee gorilla fitted... And I dont want to force the plate in case I break the grille..

Help............ :o

xxup... there's a couple of plastic "cones" that sit in the grille to help hold it in place.. should just pull straight out without much force. The plastic in the plate holder is softer than the grille... I'd expect it would distort before you'd risk damaging the grille.

You're not too far away I can have a look if that would help.

SCO and I found a screw in there that is placed in from the other side... Very tricky, but we got it out.... I am glad I did not try to force this one as the screw has a sizeable head..

Now my plate looks like SCO's set up... Thanks for the help guys (used in the most non-sexist way )
