Chipped ECU for AUTO

First, let me say this is NOT a debate on Auto vs Manual

Have been doing the rounds & not come up with anything like a chipped factory ECU to suit the auto 4-port engine. Do they exist......??

has anyone done any performance upgrade work on an NA auto yet.....??

Any links, contacts etc would be welcomed.

I seem to remember that Hymee was investigating this at some stage.

If you can find him, ask him.

Yep, that's the other guy I was trying to remember. He even had MOTEC plates on it.

(...and some cool BBS rims, which Timbo bought I think).

I'm guessing there isn't much around then.

Glens (4rotor) Motec option is an expensive option by any means.

Will have to search the japanese magazines to see whats floating around.

After 3.5 years, there should be something available.

Oh, stay tuned for what should be an intersting development too....

Yes I do but they are expensive to deal with & was just curious if there was anything floating around Oz before I searched the JDM scene.

Are you looking for just an ecu update ? Or FI? The PowerMod that I think RotorMaster sells is usable regardless of gearbox or engine. Lst I head it was just over the $1K mark.

Cheers
