Nissan celebrates NISMO's 20th anniversary with 350Z S-Tune GT
What better way to celebrate NISMO’s 20th anniversary than with a run of special cars from Nissan’s racing department? Leading the pack is the 350Z S-tune GT sporting unique front and rear facsias inspired by Japanese race cars, topped by a large adjustable rear wing. The package is finished off with 19-inch NISMO wheels.
Under the hood sits a 300-hp powerplant, while Ferrari F50 brakes make sure the car can stop as fast as it can accelerate. NISMO sells the S-tune GT only in Japan, but we’re assured Nissan plans to introduce the car outside the home market. Whether that includes the States remains to be seen.

Australia NEVER will get those beauties.
Anyway it is way over budget, for me, ... it is listed 6.5 million yen (I saw that in Option mag). The RX-8 leather pack in Japan for 3.25 million yen. Expect the S-tune is way over >$100K here. I will get the M3 then.

As I know and as listed on Nissan Japan website..... they need to have this car in the market in order to race in the JGTC (JGTC zed looks like this)... As the stock 350z does not have long nose and long tail, that means they will not have too much options there in terms of aero dynamic... It is not the competition to the mazdaspeed rx-8 as I know, because this nismo complete version has different out look than what I have got on my nismo zed (version 1?) which is a more direct competition with the mazdaspeed rx-8

I guess L&L was saying that the Nismo mods are in line with the RX-8 MazdaSpeed range... they look similar to B spec isn't it. In fact even Mugen are roughly the same to their cars. They are nice mods..

not too far..... just what I wrote in my sig. panel.... still waiting for my car warranty to get expired... then I can move on to the Nismo engine parts later....
Just got my JUN flywheel installed yesterday.... with half of the weight of the stock ones (or further 4 kg less than the nismo one), the car goes even harder, but at the lower rpm range, the chatter from the gearbox is a biatch... but I don't mind because it is just the nature of the Zed gearbox (same as supra) if go ahead with a single piece flywheel....

Nismo offers "Sport Resetting" package for the zed as well, it will be similar to the setup of the A-spec, but without the body kits and the wheels....the kit consists of air filter, cat back exhaust, flywheel, spark plugs, cats and finally the ECU.... for 55K YEN...

AMG supercharged ... another car with burrowed engine. If you think they can built a balanced car, you really have to have faith. I have serious doubt. AMG is gun, but Chrysler... hmmm. My judgement is reserved.

AMG cars are serious pieces of machinery. Friend of mine has the SL55, take off doesn't give you whip lash but it progressively sinks you deeper into the seats as the accelaration builds. Easy to get it sideways around corners with the bucket loads of torque.
