I called them up just a few minutes ago.
Tried to work out a deal with them, but it seems the plug piece price and shipping costs are firm for our numbers.
If we get 60 plugs in total (15 person), the cost of each plug will be $17.95

So we have 5 confirmed
Finding another 10 people to save $8 is going to be a stretch IMHO
Not to mention people will eventually pull out due to the waiting time
Drewman and Henley, are you guys still in?

Will update with cost of plugs with shipping to your door soon.
Once that has been established, I will send PM to each of you of the payment details.
Have had a rough week at work, sorry for the lack of updates.

The $8 saving for the spark plugs isn't worth the wait... at least we aren't all paying through the nose for shipping...

Is getting any of the other gear from them worth it? They have K&N air filters and oil filters too...

Thanks for organising Andy...

OK guys, so here we are - 6 sets of NGK OEM plugs

Cost of NGK spark plugs (per person) - USD $79.80
Cost of shipping (per person) - USD $12.37
Rate of exchange from CBA (my bank) is 0.9425 (bank sells) as of 25 July 2008

SO, each person will pay AUD$ 92.17 plus their choice of local shipping

I will be absorbing the shipping discount in exchange for the currency exchange fee AUD $8.

Postage options are as follow (for local shipping):

Regular parcel - $4.20
500g Regular parcel post satchel - $5.50
http://www.auspost.com.au/BCP/0,1467...7~MO19,00.html

Express post satchel - $7.70
500g Express post parcel satchel - $7.70
http://www.auspost.com.au/BCP/0,1467...6~MO19,00.html

Let me know which one you prefer. For sanity's sake, I prefer if we all decided on one option. I prefer the prepaid satchel options at $5.50 (3 days regular) or $7.70 (express next business day).

Will PM you lot my bank details as soon as we decided on postage option.

Sorry the ebay link was more a hint that you COULD get them cheaper. Anyway, you can add me for a set of the denso's. PLEASE be aware that if your total SHIPPED value is >= $1000 AUD you will pay duty @ 10% and GST at 10% again.

Let's keep this simple for everyone.
Drewman's fashionably late entry meant we are saving a further AUD $2 each

NGK people:
if you want regular postage ... send me AUD $95.70
if you want express postage ... send me AUD $97.90

Drewman and Auzoom:
you have to send me AUD $161.3 plus local shipping
add $5.50 for regular
add $7.70 for express

NSW people can also pick up from my office in Rydalmere if so desired.

I will PM my bank account details, please PM me back once you have made the payment
And also forward me your postage address (thanks to those who have)

So far the total cost is USD 843.21 inc. shipping
That's just under AUD 900. So we are looking good.

Please, no more late entries or my head will explode from all the calculations.

Please note that the above total doesn't include local shipping.

I'm also happy with whatever postage option, so regular postage will do me.

I'll deposit funds for that on Monday Andy and PM my postal address now.

Thanks again for organising this. Great work.

Easy tiger - I'm in the same boat as Matt - easier for me to do it from my work puter. Another day won't make any difference.
