Do I need to recalibrate the PCM?

I just bought the car around 2 months ago. Do I need to get reflash from my dealer? Thank you.

Get your dealer to check your WDS , then you will know what flash you are running .

The latest flash as we know it is the G flash .

The fact that your car is only 2 months old i would say you would have the E flash as the G has only been available for the last few weeks .

cheers

Mazda Australia in their stubborness wont commit to tell us what the flashes actually do however the RX8 is definetely improved in its fuel consumption , smmother and better running response , being reflashed from the E TO THE G FLASH .

M is the flash in the US .

Tell your dealer that your car is intermitingly miss firing idling rough, and consuming to much petrol , that should get them to upgrade your ECU .to the latest flash which should address these problems .

If your dealer wont do it find one that will .

Mazda youre customer service SUCKS BIG TIME .

cheers

20sin,

What city are you from? Maybe we can suggest a service department that is more into helping customers instead of acting dumb.

L&L the actual service centres are not Mazda based but controlled by an external company contracted by Ford.

Regards
Phillip

i got mine less than a week ago. so i assume it should be already G flash. but i haven't asked to verify. i tried to ask the salesperson and the sales manager, but they had no clue what so ever and said i should come in to speak with the service dept and the technician.
