We don't let Economy thoughts into our First Class minds.

Who said the peasants are revolting?

I got leather because I have to drive the dogs around (they ARE part of the family you know...)

Even with a cover on the back seats, cloth just wouldn't stand up to the punishment of fur, claws, slobber, sand, water, mud, etc...

The extra weight of the leather + electric driver seat was offset by good excercise and dieting to reduce the weight of my butt dyno. I'm now at 57kg.

I got leather and got it lower than $55k...and I got my accountant's blessing so I think I am safe....besides I think the ATO will be after all the Porsche/Ferrari & Lambo crowd.....we are way down on the food chain in mazdas..... My car's in a private name and managed so well that if they found I had a car that would be amazing I own a rusty Alfa...I could roll that out instead (HA HA)

Well of course it does Dan. The peasants just hate admitting it.

On the second hand market , i would say most buyers would go for the leather pack , especially as there does not seem to be a price difference between them

What is of concern is the number of seconhand RX8 'S for sale , maybe there are more problems out there than one is led to believe ?

Glad i found this forum , i am slowly learning the pros and cons of this car .

I don't think so. Both this and the .au forums have been pretty active at flushing out problems.

Some of the 'early adopters' are probably just moving on. Remember, the car's been around for 3 years now. Plenty of people sell up when the warranty/lease expires and move onto something new.

I'm sure there's also been people who have bought it not knowing what it can and can't do and are disappointed. Like any car, it has it's limitations.

These sort of cars are also very susceptible to being sold off when another kid comes along or wifey wants a bigger house. Not everyone has the ***** (or the means) to hang on to their toys in the face of such pressure.

You should be cheering - more for sale means more choice for you.

Exactly as I thought! So new LP buyers never get back the additional price they paid

Exactly as I thought, pov pack owners miss out on all the benefits of the LP and some even paid more for theirs than I did for mine!

Can I help it if your poverty stretches back further in time than others?

Heh heh heh, been a while since we ragged each other over these meaningless issues. Mebbe we should move this thread to the 'Discussion' forum?

Well, hurry up! I'm not that young, and while I look forward to it, I want to make sure I still have all my teeth (to eat my words, of course) when you have "the car"
