Thanks mate.

You better get the EVO X. Coz I promise my friend (or better I forced my friend) that I could buy his EVO 9 when he goes overseas in 2 years.

It really depends on how used your car is. Clean engine oil is the biggest issue. You are unlikely to have done much to your brake fluid on the road. If you are due for a service soon then just go and get an oil change now, then after the track get it serviced.

I don't think the track is very brake intensive.

It really depends on the service of the car... if you have not changed any engine oil over 6 months - change. Leave the brake fluid - I think it will be fine, but yeah change it afterwards, coz you will have hooked to trackdays !

Kev,

So long as its not another bow down and worship Porsche and Ferrari day (at porsche and ferrari prices) I am sure there will be lots of takers here.

Cheers

Andrew

OK people, a few points to be made.

Meet Point
We will be meeting at the Shell Service Station at the corner of Donnybrook Rd at 07:15 http://www.street-directory.com.au/s...=532&StateID=1. Its a 30-40 min trip depending on traffic.

If you are late and we aren't there when you get there, just keep heading down the Hume until the Broadford/Flowerdale/Heathcote turn off, turn right onto Strath Creek Road and it will be on your right about a km or 2 up the road (I believe). Melway Map Reference: Map 510 M8 http://www.motorcyclingvic.com.au/br...d/bfordmap.htm
http://www.street-directory.com.au/s...=579&StateID=1

YOU MUST BE AT BROADFORD TRACK BY 08:15

Behaviour
We have a good bunch of people and have never had a problem before. This day is being run by Driver Dynamics so please dont embarrass us by being stupid. Be smart, be sensible, drive within yourself (Andrew makes note to take his own advice ) and above all, listen to the instructors, they are some of the best going...just ask Mr C. Lowndes.

Lunch
We are organising a BBQ Lunch. Can anyone with "special" dietary requirements PM/email/phone me to let me know.

Fuel
There is no Shell in Broadford and I am not sure about BP, so it make be safe to bring a Can or 2 of your prefered fuel.

Thats it. See you all there.

Cheers

Andrew

I reckon filling up at Donnybrook will do me fine, based on my lack of fuel consumption at Wakefield LOL
Oh, and I'm vegetarian but you knew that.

FYI

Re: Petrol Stations for Broadford Track day.

Apparently Kilmore has a BP with one Pump of Ultimate 98. About 16km’s prior to Broadford. But on the old Hwy.

Mobil servo on Hwy about 17 km’s north of Broadford (Seymour).

The Fuel Issue

Hi Guys

I am currently in Wagga Wagga (in the land of the slow internet) and thought I would drive through Broadford for a look on the way.

There is only one petrol station in town and it is an Ampol. They sell both regular unleaded and Ampol Gold.

Not sure how our cars would perform on Ampol Gold, but I am sure it would be ok to get home.

Matt
