FS [SYD]: 2 Sumitomo HTR ZIII tyres - 2000kms old
I have a set of 2 Sumitomo HTR ZIII tyres for sale. Made in Japan.
Size is the same as factory Bridgestone RE040s - 225/45/18
Almost 2000kms travelled on these tyres, so PLENTY of tread left.
For those who wondered what the HTR ZIII (not to be confused with HTR ZII), Tirerack tested and rated them better than Bridgestone RE050A Pole Position, Yokohama Advan Sport and Continental Contisport3. (Test car is BMW 3 Series)
Test result here:

From my experience, it is quieter, more compliant and more comfortable than RE040.
Grips just as well and steering response is just as sharp.
Treadwear rating is UTOQ 300, so it'll last yonks.
I bought them at $242 a piece, but selling them at $140 each.
Perfect replacement for those worn rear tyres.
If you can find better tyres at this size and price, buy them.
I can only think of Nankang NS2 and Kumho KU31s.
Google for the tyre and you'll see glowing reports on these HTR ZIIIs.
I prefer Sydney buyers pick up only. Located in Newington/Silverwater area.
