FS: Brand new TEIN Flex + EDFC
Hey pple
As some of you already know, I've been eagerly waiting for my Tein Flex's + EDFC to arrive and they're finally have.
Unfortunately, Im putting it up for sale. Its all brand new (only been opened for check for contents) has all the receipts + customs papers.
I'll be honest, the reason for the sale is because I've heard from several 'people in the know' that the Tein Flex is a bit too soft for the track. Even at the hardest setting. (Taka might disagree, not sure) - but yeah.
Now, seeing as the Flex is already pretty soft, I figured I'd be better off with the Tein SuperStreet instead, saving a decent amount of $$ at the same time which can go towards bigger, better upgrades. Or better yet, wait for the new Super Racings Tein's. I'm also considering letting the rx8 go towards the end of the year so no point souping it up just for the track.
Anyway, those are my reasons.
Heres what you'll get:
TEIN Type FLEX damper kit
TEIN EDFC
All brand new and includes all the papers, receipts, blah etc etc.
Price: $3000 not negotiable
Selling at just a little below cost of getting it here. I prefer someone in Sydney. If you're interstate, arranging pickup + delivery is your responsibility.
PM me if you're interested.

Someone will snap those up for sure.
Confused by your reasons though. You say too soft for track but later go on to say you may be getting rid of the car so no point souping it up for track use. Never mind, it doesn't really matter - why you're selling them is your business.
I'm still trying to decide whether I could be bothered to get the MS spring/shock kit. Funnily enough, my new driveway difficulty seems to be holding the swing vote still.

Super street is too soft for anything. Better just don't have it and go for your audio system that you like .
Flex is ok for track. If it is not hard enough for some (and I have to agree to some degree), then you upgrade to something. SuperRacing is not compatible with **** road we have in Australia. And you go around the mountain road you may hop in the mountain it is very dangerous.
Flex is in the same league of coilover as the other coilover that goes from track to road to home. Although it is on the softer side to it.
You have to aware that Tein Flex for some model is not the same as the Tein Flex for the other.
RX-8 Tein Flex is ok for both track and it is harsher on road than stock.
GTR R34 Tein Flex is very soft and it is prob too soft for track.
MR2 Turbo Tein Flex is too harsh for road and it is a shocking ride, but will be great on track.
Just my $0.02.
Having said that I have to have SuperRacing one day . Once I know how to drive and set up my suspension properly first.

Taka: Thanks for pointing the differences out. I've got a couple of people interested atm, if the sale doesnt go within a week - I'm keeping it.

Just wanted to point out that it would cost anywhere from $250-$400 to install the suspensions and EDFC.
I've had BelGarage (Syd) quoute me $250 for install whereas Taka has seen install prices of around $400 in Melb.
