Thats actually a pretty good price. Ive seen these go for more than that.
They are made by Seiko so they are a very good watch. I paid about $300 for mine about 3 years ago.

Guys, I have seen these watches for over AU$1000 recently.

This price is a bargain for what they are.

Very collectable whether you use a watch or not.

thanks

Thumbs up

Well I have ordered and paid for one, these watches ARE very rare and good value.

Marcus only has a few left and when they are gone you won't find many if any around for under $1000.00.

So if you are thinking about it don't wait too long...

DMRH (Dave) will accept PayPal on behalf of Marcus and will ship anywhere in Australia, so give Marcus a call.

Woo HOO to You!!!

Yes, you probably got yours for around $192US

BTW... "I am something/someone an old man would wear"...I turn 50 in a few weeks!!!!!, so do I make the old man class?

BTWW... There are 2 types of this particular Seiko watch, the one shown here and a limited numbered edition of 500 which has a carbon fiber look face plate and a punch holed look band...these are going for 399.00 Pounds or about $1200.00 AU, there is one currently listed on eBay Germany.

About $120 US but that was for one on the open market when they were just a catalog item. I'm not down on your price --I hope they are going up in value!
BTW I really like the renesis model I got from you!

No Problemo...
Good to see you like the Renesis Engine Model I sent you, they really have some great detail and are very true to the actual rotary engine design.

Have you had to replace your watch battery?
When I get mine from Marcus I will need to renew its power source.

So...I'm unsure, is the price you're showing US or AU?

Seems to me I did replace the battery right after I got it (seller warned me that it would not last long). Was no big deal; just a pry off back.

OK...

I picked up a new battery (from watch place)....$8.50AU

Carefully popped off the back (use a small fine flat head screw driver at the band end and gently pry the back off...it will pop a little.. fit the new battery, don't touch the + or - face (hold on side), and replace the back with some force...it will click/pop back in tight.

Adjust the time and see the second hand (ROTOR) tick around the housing...
very coooool.....

Here are the battery details....

SR927 SW/395
Silver Oxide Battery 1.55 Volts
Mine was made by Seiko Instruments..Japan.

BTW The only place I found the battery was at a Watch Specialist or Jeweler.
The quote to supply and fit battery was $17.50AU....

I Received the watch today, DMRH. Thank you and Marcus for this. It looks very nice and is heavier than I expected. I've had a plastic watch for too long, I guess. Now to find a battery for it, gotta see it run. It looks like the rotor stays centered. It would be nice if it turned in the housing like a real rotor, wouldn't it? Hmmmm, I wonder if I can find an animated graphic to use as a background on my cellphone....

Well you will be happy to know that the rotor does turn It is the second hand of the watch. Get a battery in it quick. You will love it.
