Tuan, sad to see you go mate.
I will point out for those that care, with the gutter rash on these, there are a number of people in both Sydney and Melbourne that I know of that repair this for not much money at all. PM me details if you need them.
Cheers
Andrew

Thanks guys. Truly is a sad day. Hate seeing this car go. Felt so satisfied with the mods on it that made it so personalised.
What's even worse is going thru numerous car-review sites and realising the damn truth, nothing compares to the rx8. I know from experience that nothing handles like it either. You tend to have to sacrifice practicality/handling/luxury (sti/evo, hsvs, s2k, 350z) to get something in the 60-80k bracket. Whereas the rx8 blends it all in the best package. Same reason i bought one over 4 yrs ago, same reason I would today.
Heres hoping theres more news on SE3P/FD3S in 2010. I'll be eagerly awaiting.
I'll call up my local Moorebank wheel repair shop for some prices and post up Monday.

Sorry to see you go Tuan. Its always tough to goodbye to one of our own.
You're right about one thing....despite some of the issues you read in the forums...![](http://www.innertraveler.com/messagecenter/images/smilies/duel.gif)
...theres no way you're going to find another car like the RX8 which will match it dollar for dollar and pound for pound....![](http://i.pbase.com/o4/98/583898/1/64174001.gIW7Nt7s.headbang.gif)
Good luck mate....we'll miss having you around....

On stock height, no.
On coilovers neither. I tried various 2/32 clicks (soft) to 30/32 clicks (hard) and it worked seamlessly perfect.
Tyres used were 235/40/18 fronts and 245/40/18 rear. If going for 265/35 rears (proper size, however I liked the stretch look of 245), i would suggest you roll the guards defintely at a lowered ride height. At standard ride height, i THINK it should be okay.
coilovers at this ride height.

For those interested purchasers who haven't met Tuan, I'm happy to vouch for him. He's a stand up guy and won't steer you wrong on what he's selling.
Good luck with the sale mate and please drop in from time to time.

That was quite some time ago now. I sold it about 1.5 - 2 mths ago.
I need the money to set up my business at the time, that's why I was selling.
I regret selling the VR CE28Ns, but I cannot justify a $5000 wheels + tyres set up for daily driving.
