Go West Coast!
Hymee - by all means dump this in the lounge! Thought it was important that we recognise even briefly one of Australia's most holy days!!!!
Last time the eagles won a flag I was living in perth! We were sponsors and knew the guys pretty well. The first flag had been a dream the second a harder road, expectations were huge!
Rememebr ducking down to the shops for some last minute "supplies" and the Coles car park at Vic Park being a grave yard! No cars on the streets everyone locked up at home watching the telly.
When they won...place went nuts, cars honking, you could hear the parties around the neighbourhood.
Was lucky enough to live in Perth for 5 years and it's one of the best cities on the planet and they love their footy. :D
Go WEAGLES!!!!!:D

As I said in another thread, the Eagles are now roast chooks! :p :D
I'm not an AFL fan and frankly didn't end up watching most of the game but I caught most of the last quarter - nothing like a close finish in any sport to get the blood pumping (even if they did seem to spend as much time wrestling on the ground as the average union player) and that last mark was a gem. Bet that bloke won't have to buy a beer like, ever!
:D
And how good was it that big bad Barry could play in and share the victory. Had to feel happy for him.
