Thanks Gomez, I didn't recall reading that thread and didn't find it when I searched for the thread I linked.

I've linked the "less accurate" thread to the "more accurate" thread for the benefit of future readers.

Thanks Hymee...thought that you would like my choice in colour (with leather......obviously!)

Went for a drive out to the Hunter Valley with Wildcard last weekend which turned a few heads :p

Can't wipe the stupid smile off my face........and yes I will get around to some Hymee enhanced work once my bank account has recovered :D :D

Hi buddies,
I took my RX8 to Mt.Buller 2 weeks ago and was great.
There was a place in Mansfield where i hired my snow chains from. luckily i didnt need them all weekend. there are 2 types of chains. Ladder and hexa. make sure you get the Ladder type, they sit better around the tyre and rim. they wont scratch the rims as long as you put them on correctly.
TIP: Put some (a little, 80-100ml) metho spirits in the washer bottle. also, dont forget to leave your wipers up.

So has anyone actually fitted chains? Is there enough clearance? My old 200SX has clearance but my wifes 206 GTI has none so chains cant be fitted.
