Happy as a ......
Well after the long wait I finally took delivery of my much anticipated Titanium 8 yesterday
First impressions
1) Zoom Zoom (even if I'm keeping it under 7k)
2) When did the RTA install rails on our local streets.
3) When did I become a celebrity ( people keep looking and commenting to eachother)
4) Xenon is sensational - I expected the efficiency of distance but the latereal spread is sensational!
Best moments so far ...
Nearing home from the dealership saw a Velocity Red on Govenor Macquarie Dr (2pm Saturday arvo) who welcomed me to the club with a flash of light and a wave .. thanks! (are you on this forum - say Hi!)
The girl hanging out of the passenger side of a 4WD to keep staring ... my son loved it!!
and all this in less than 24 hours!!!!
I LOVE IT
(apologies to that other car maker!!!)

Congrats on your '8. Everyting you say about it is exactly how I felt and still feel.
Also, congrats on surviving those last few hours.
If you'd know how fantastic it was going to be, imagine how much harder those hours would have been!

Congratulations pricer01 on taking delivery of what will become an infatuation.
I totally agree with L&L, this baby really roars once you've been driving it for a few thousand kms.
And the attention the RX-8 draws continues. Every day I get at least one person who stops to ask me about the car. It's a great feeling to know you're driving a car that plenty of other people would love to drive, but at the same time you don't feel as if they're thinking you're a ****** (like you do when you see someone in a $500,000 ferrari revving the engine and burning everyone off at the traffic lights in the CBD).
Hope to see you at the next Sydney RX-8 meet.
