Haunted 8
Picking up two mates, one riding shot gun and the other one sitting behind him, we were cruising along Monash Freeway (more like Monash carpark during peak hours) chatting and listening to some music from the Bose when suddenly the interior lights door (the one in the centre of the roof) turns on for 2 seconds and then turns off again. Freaking out I had not idea what was going on and madly checked my console to see if there were any warning lights….nope everything was fine and there was no ‘door open’ signal on the dash, which to my reasoning would be the immediate reason for the interior lights flashing on and off.
Thinking that I was the cause of this issue, my mates started to hang a bit on me until 3 minutes later when hanging a sharp right turn off Warrigal road it happened again. Now really wondering with the heck was happening, I decided to live with it until the next day where I would bring it back to the dealership to sort out this issue. Finally as we turned to the house the lights came on and off again for the fifth time in our 15 minutes journey. As we were about to disembark, someone had a hypothesis to the problem and it proved to be nearly spot on.
The problem was that the rear ‘suicide’ door was not closed properly, but still allowed the front door to lock into its correct position. This somehow caused the interior lights to come on and off, particularly during cornering, yet the door sensors still had sufficient contact pressure to indicate that there was nothing wrong with the doors' locking positions.
Just a peculiarity that I thought would’ve been testing during the design phase. Moral of story, my 8 is not haunted but close the rear doors firmly!

I got mine back after an oil change, new plugs and an updated flash. For about 2 weeks the radio was playing for about 1 minute after removing the key then it went back to turning off right away?

I went for a quick trip to the shops once and halfway there something licked my ear!!! turned out that one of the dogs snuck into the car as I was taking something out of the back seats... Really freaked me out when you are not expecting it.
