I'm from Christchurch aswell and have just brought a rx8 a week ago. I would love to go for a drive and meet other rx8 owners and check out the cars.

Lol, dunno if we'll ever come close to matching your guys Mystery Tours but I like the idea of North Vs South. Maybe if both continue to gain support we could arrange a meet in Wellington or Nelson one year...

Its a shame theres no boosted rx8s that I know of down here. But what I lack in boost, I make up for in being fearless

On a side note, why the **** does something else break when I fix something? Now im getting this strange sucking noise (sounds like a turbo sucking) only at 8k to 9k (gearchange obviously) I havent noticed any difference in performance but I havent heard this noise before

I dunno what the issue is. I have no loss of performance. In fact I recently raced a rx8 and creamed it. It could be the exhaust gasket is fucked after I took off my midpipe and now there's a slight leak?

 

I saw another one on sunday on halswell road. It looked totally original. Mine has had a few minor mods.

I'm keen just to meet up and park up and talk about our cars. I know very little about them and am keen to learn.
