Well, there you go Kas, you have it made!

You really should get yourself a better half though. Not only do we make your life a joy, we bitch to you about your car and how much you spend on it, AND we clean the toilet!

W OF JFAN

Your situation could be a lot worse hubby could be playing rx8 sugar daddy to some younger lady and spending the hard on cash on her , at least the rx8 will have better re sale value and its a lot more fun .

Give him a break , if he works hard is good to you and the kids , why cant he have his toys ?

Why to men DIE ten to fifteen years ahead of their nagging wifes ???

Because they want to .HA HA HA

My wife brought my rx8 for me as part of my 50th birthday present , and i have had 24 cars in 32 years , no its not midlife crisis from 18 years on , its just a guy thing .

Be nice to each other and enjoy your new toy as a family ,dont feel bad about falling out of the car my wife has a tendency of doing the same , it must be a girl thing .

Phew -- that was a long thread that revealed a lot!

Actually to get back on topic, sort of, I reckon wives deceive their husbands as much as the reverse, in fact, more frequently but possibly less seriously, IME.

In my case, my better half and I maintain joint and separate finances, and 'indulgences' are separately funded unless jointly indulged (we have a few of those )

As I meekly respond 'Yes, dear" I always remind myself of the number of times (mostly always) I have not commented on the number of pairs of shoes that seem to enter the house. In fact, it only gets me when the decision-making is transferred to me before we are going out some evenings, and *I* have to decide between 4 or 5 pairs of shoes -- and I really can't differ between the gold, the cream, the beige or the off-white

Clearly there needs to be a webcam-equipped shoe decision forum for women!

Me? I only have about 6 pairs of shoes -- brown, black, trainers, decks and elastic sides. I wear them, sometimes even clean them, get 'em repaired -- and I have a pretty good idea what goes with what!

NO MORE POSTS PLEASE- until at least next Tues.

I'm off to Sydney at sparrows tomorrow to take delivery, returning home late Monday. Remember every post gets an email to the originator, and the Missus checks our email regularly. It is still a surprise.

thanks, jack.
Be thinking of me y'orl around 1pm tomorrow...

thanks, Kev, you've been here before.
BTW I'm staying with friends in Cromer Fri and Sun, gotta be pretty nearby. I actually spent the first 15 years of life at Avalon, still have a pennant in the closet: 1959 under 3stone 7 MWDRLFC champions (Avalon Public School).
