It was @ Western Mufflers in Granville.
Playa, any muffler shop should do it without problems, and shouldnt cost more than $70'ish.
Gomez: Playa's intermediate pipe is kinked

Damn, spent all day with Kunz yesterday doing the level 2 Murcotts course and forgot to crawl under and check out his new intermediate pipe.
I can confirm that it doesn't appear to sound any different to the Hymee catback alone.
BTW, there was a guy there with a RotorMaster S/C kit. He was very happy with it but it doesn't sound that flash with the factory exhaust - sewing machines come to mind.

Wow someone actually has one!
Did he say much more about it? Why on earth would you spend that sort of money and then keep the stock exhaust?
How did he go on the course?

As for the kit, he thought it was money well spent (but added that he had recently divorced, thus avoiding the usual spousal response to the idea that you're going to spend $12K on engine mods alone ). He regaled us with tales of Monaro's kept honest (in a straight line - we can all beat them around corners ) and said the difference in torque was fantastic.
As for the exhaust thing - what Eric said I guess. He looked to be in his late forties so maybe the whole loud exhaust thing is not his go.
Seemed a competent steerer but as nothing was timed and we didn't even thrash the cars that hard (for a whole lap anyways ) it is difficult to give any appraisal of the car's ability.
I offered him a drive of mine to try out the short shifter but he indicated that would not be fair because his insurance prevented anyone else driving his. I didn't think to ask for a ride so I can't comment on seat of the pants feel.
